'Old Hat' is the debut release of The Crusty Suitcase Band. A six piece Sydney hip hop infused big band with a New Orleans style lineup. The Crustys use the old school combination of horns and drums. This generous EP is packed full of their raw funkified anthemic sound which will leap out of the speakers and make you want to hear more. 'Old Hat' for some, but not for the jazz purists, this band takes the horn section somewhere between a classical quintet and Fela Kuti. Featuring Matt Ortignon - sax/clarinet, Sam Golding Sousaphone, and Ben Walsh drums.
